My name is Tod A Marcus, and I’m an EA.

I’m in my 50s and I have been preparing taxes since I was a teenager helping my father, who is a CPA.

I care greatly for my clients and I will give you my best.

EA stands for “Enrolled Agent”. It is an elite status and the highest credential awarded by the IRS. Enrolled agents have unlimited practice rights before the IRS, just like CPAs and attorneys.

EAs can be varified on the IRS website here (opens in a new tab).

For corporation and partnership tax services – please click here.

For expat tax services – please click here.

How it Works

Our mission is to provide income tax preparation services similar to the classic “mom and pop” tax services – but now fully online so the client can save time and not have to deal with traffic.

In today’s modern technology era, this is very easily done.

Importantly, we are a small firm who genuinely cares for each client just like the tax preparer you used to visit in person. We are not a faceless and irresponsible corporation with absent customer support when things go wrong. You can call and talk to us any time during our normal business hours.

If you would like to get started, please request a quote here.

We will ask a few simple and private questions to better understand your needs and your tax situation. If you choose to proceed, we will provide our client service agreement,  privacy policy, and other terms.

For payment, we accept Pay Pal, credit cards, and you can even mail us a check if that is what you are comfortable with.

Once we engage, we will begin the information collection process – which is actually pretty fast and easy. We will need secure uploads of your tax documents and we will send you simple questionnaires and organizers to make sure that we are maximizing your legitimate deductions.

When your taxes are prepared and ready for your review, we will securely send you a draft to review. If it looks good, we have you “click to sign” and in most cases we e-file your tax returns, and we are done.

If you have any questions or concerns, just let us know. Of course, we want to make sure that we absolutely maximize your legitimate deductions and credits. We are ready to listen.

Online Tax Professionals – Security

One concern we hear very often form our new clients is “online security” – which we take very seriously on our end.

We use encrypted document transfer and signature software, we use very strong passwords, we change our passwords regularly, we use a wired connection in our office (no wireless), and we use triple log in authentication wherever possible – such as with our gmail (professional secure enterprise) email.

We strongly recommend that clients (or any taxpayers) do not work with sensitive information from a public connection – such as a a coffee shop, a hotel , or an airport.

Clients should also use multiple levels of log-in authentication, use strong passwords, and change their passwords often. These items are most of the battle.
